Academic Jazz Classes

 

Rich Falco joined the music faculty of Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1979 where he currently holds the full time position of Director of Jazz Studies, teaching jazz history, jazz theory, jazz improvisation, jazz orchestration, jazz field research and archiving, recording technology and African percussion. He has also served for a number of years on the jazz faculty of Clark University where he re-established their jazz program conducting big bands and combos, teaching jazz guitar and bass and presenting courses in jazz history.
